Jill Heinke Moen
Jill Heinke Moen, born in Wisconsin and raised in Illinois, discovered her passion for music early on in a musical household. Starting with piano, flute, and bass guitar, she quickly earned numerous awards in local and school competitions. Jill went on to earn her Bachelor of Music from the University of California, Santa Barbara, studying with acclaimed flutist Jill Felber, and her Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with Tim Day, principal flutist of the San Francisco Symphony. Furthering her studies at the Royal College of Music in London on a full scholarship, she trained with the renowned Susan Milan.
Jill has performed in esteemed venues, including Carnegie Hall with Areon Flutes, a cutting-edge chamber ensemble that has won numerous awards, including a Bronze Medal at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. As a dedicated teacher, Jill inspires her students, many of whom have earned top honors in local and state competitions. Her deep passion for performance and education continues to shape her musical journey.

The Menomonie Singers
Join us for a magical evening filled with the beautiful sounds of Christmas carols, performed by The Menomonie Singers.
The Menomonie Singers, established in 1989 as the Menomonie Chamber Singers, has grown from a small group of 12 to a thriving community choir. Now a 501(c)3 non-profit, the choir rehearses at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and performs regularly throughout the year. As members of the Chippewa Valley Voices consortium, they bring quality choral music to the region, premiering new works and presenting both classical and contemporary pieces.
Dedicated to celebrating the human experience, The Menomonie Singers enrich the community with their passion for music.
The Oaklawn Inn has been part of Menomonie’s intriguing history for over 130 years.
